“The Luxe met my expectations during my visit to Da Lat, Lam Dong, Vietnam.”
The Luxe sits in a handy spot and you can walk to the lake in no time.
The location was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired. Everything seemed to cost extra and the staff weren’t helpful. Before traveling to Da Lạt, I was duped online by a page that claimed to represent the hotel, yet I stubbornly booked a unit there. My group arrived around 2 pm, 15 minutes early for check‑in, only to be told by the receptionist to wait because the previous guests had just left and cleaning was just starting; the hotel should have warned the earlier guests to vacate on time. After more than a half‑hour wait, we finally got a room that was damp, the toilet still had toothpaste foam from the prior occupants, the sofa leather was cracked, and the glass door and railings were filthy. Anyone who travels often and hates stepping into a supposedly freshly cleaned but still moist room will understand how terrible that felt. We paid 6,900,000 VND for the apartment, an extra 1,600,000 VND for the driver and a family member, and over 8,000,000 VND for three nights, yet there are many places in Da Lạt with better service. When we checked out, no one mentioned refunding any money as had been promised 😂… That’s all I have to say, goodbye.
It’s pretty close to the center and the room is nice.
“A very good value-for-money hotel in Da Lat”
Very clean and new room facilities. Good location, hospitality staff. I stayed in the only 2 bedroom villa, the small room has neirther window nor ventilation so it’s not easy to sleep
The family room is decent but a bit old, and the toilet smells because the drain is broken. There’s no glass to see the bathroom, even though the space is wide and could accommodate many people. The toilet spray nozzle is missing in some spots; it’s installed only for guests who need it.
