The location was great and the staff were friendly.

The place was very clean, and despite being close to Finland, there was no disruptive music to disturb our sleep. However, the hot water flow was weak.

Staying within a Balinese family compound is a terrific experience. The location is as good as it gets for surfers and party people and chill out folks. You can walk anywhere and Berawa beach is a turn around the corner. Water features in the garden drown out everything else that might be happening in the evening. Laundry service onsite as well as scooter rental. Water dispenser provided too so one does not have to keep buying plastic bottles. A treat!. All four of us liked all of it. My surfer son as well as my streamer son who did his first stream from Bali because it was the first wifi connection which was stable and powerful enough to do so. And we stayed in 4 star hotels. Go figure!
