We didn’t end up staying the night and were unhappy that the bathroom was separate across the hall; there were no kitchen facilities in the room. I might have misread the description when booking, thinking we’d get our own private bathroom, but there wasn’t even a kettle. The room description was completely wrong.

We liked the large bedroom and the kitchen with crockery and cutlery, but everything felt tired. From the entry path covered in old leaves and a potential slip hazard to the dead leaves in the hallway, the building where we stayed needed more upkeep. Additionally, some furniture in our room was broken (a bedroom chair) and the kitchen furniture looked like it came from a thrift shop and needed a good clean.

Breakfast was good. The location is very nice, and the buildings have a lot of character. The bed was a bit hard, and the pillows were not to my liking.
