The accommodation and facilities were very good, and Jules the host was fantastic. The location isn’t ideal; it was very noisy at night with dogs barking and heavy traffic on the surrounding main roads audible all night.

On arrival we were met with a warm welcome that was truly lovely. Every guest was greeted, which is exceptional! The Luxury tent was spotless, very warm, and comfortable. The site itself was clean and very tidy. There was nothing to dislike; we will definitely stay there again.

The staff were super helpful when I arrived late, which was a big relief. Waking up to the sound of birds and the view of the river was a lovely way to start the day. The glamping accommodation was comfy and felt like a real treat. Just be aware that the road can be a bit of a challenge to find, so it'd be great if they had some clearer directions.

The view from this place is just stunning, and the property itself is beautiful. That's about all I can say, to be honest – it was a real treat to stay here.

We stumbled upon Riverbend Camp on our way to Jan Kempdorp, and it was a real gem. The luxury tents were top-notch, with super comfy beds and electric blankets that kept us warm on chilly nights. The whole place was spotless, and we even got to fish right from our tent. The owners, Basel and Jules, were incredibly kind and welcoming – they even took us on a boat trip along the Vaal River, which was an unforgettable experience.
