“Great hotel in a small town”
I chose this hotel because the location kept me from staying elsewhere; if you want quiet, this is the place. The king bed was so comfortable and the pillows were very soft, so I didn’t wake up with a sore neck. I was in Kansas City for a Chiefs game and the hotels around K.C. were pricey, so I found this one and decided to stay. I’ll be back for more games. The downside is there was no ice machine, and the sign by the vending machines said you could get ice from the office. I got there after midnight from the Chiefs game, my knee was hurting, so I walked the hall to the office but the lobby door was locked. I don’t know if the outside entrance was locked, but I didn’t get any ice for my knee. Also, the location makes it hard to find food; McDonald’s isn’t open 24/7 even though it’s on I‑70, and the town is small so there’s not much else.
