The spot sits just a stone’s throw from the city centre, making most of the flat sights a quick stroll away, and even Sacsayhuaman is reachable on foot if you’re up for it. The hotel itself is tucked into an inner courtyard, so it’s surprisingly quiet even though it’s in the middle of town. My room was spotless, and the bed was the widest I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom looked brand‑new and immaculate, and the breakfast was just fine.

The guest house had comfy beds and the staff were super helpful, even storing my bags while I went hiking and doing the laundry for me. The hot showers were great, and it was the perfect spot to recover after a long trek.
