I booked a single night at White Apricot Lodge but ended up staying three nights; the staff were incredibly friendly and the reception was open all the time. They showed me around the city with great tips. I highly recommend it for solo travelers and backpackers. Thanks for having me; I’d definitely come back if I visit Hunza again.

The attendant was excellent, with stellar customer‑service skills and a polite, international demeanor that earned this place a 10/10 for me, even though there was a generator issue at night. The only downside was the nighttime power problem.

I stayed in a quieter, more authentic part of the old town, and the garden and balcony were a dream, offering seasonal fruit and a very friendly, attentive host.
