The location was certainly strategic, it was a green‑filled property with a breathtaking view, and the breakfast offered a good selection of local, high‑quality products. However, the overall cleanliness could definitely improve. When we arrived it seemed there was a mix‑up with the booked room; the host girl who checked us in showed us two rooms that looked very clean and fragrant, but when we pointed out that ours had the kitchen, she was a bit surprised yet still escorted us to the room. Inside, we found it dirty, with a lot of dust, scuffed floors, scattered cobwebs, and the bathroom had hair from previous guests, clearly indicating it hadn’t been prepared for our arrival. The pool was also not clean enough; we couldn’t use it for 3 of the 7 days because of the grime and the animals inside. Fortunately Cristiano (maintenance/gardener/all‑rounder) managed to make it usable for the remaining 4 days. Another unpleasant aspect was the presence of their two dogs, which, while adorable, were very intrusive; it was impossible to leave the room because the dogs were always there, ready to jump on you or even drool on you while you had breakfast.
