Breakfast was fine, but it was only available from 9.00; an 8.30 start would have helped. The in‑room shower was very poor, with only a large shower head at the top of the area, lacking the customary handheld head needed to rinse off all the shower gel. No non‑slip mat was provided; that’s not a problem for us but elderly guests would likely expect it.

The staff were helpful and getting to the countryside and coast was a breeze, but the place needs some TLC—pots of dead box on the patio, no milk for tea in the room, and the Wi‑Fi was not working.
