The food was excellent, especially the local dishes, and the breakfast was plentiful while the room was spotless, but my night was ruined by a medium‑sized courtyard dog that was clearly out at night and kept barking loudly right under my window, so I couldn’t sleep and was exhausted the next morning.

The place felt a bit sparse. In the next hotel up the pass, the overall price was lower yet the experience richer. Everything depends on how much you pay and what you get. The room here, which was acceptable, lacked a sink, toilet, and shower and cost CHF 170.00. For an extra CHF 70.00 we could have had a room with a shower and toilet—so for CHF 240.00 we got less. In the following hotel, higher on the pass, we paid only CHF 145.00 and received more for far less money. The restaurant at the second hotel even outshone the one on the Julier. The main criticism: the prices at Ospizio La Veduta are unreasonable.

The location is great, right on Ela Parc. The food is good and the staff are friendly. The only issue is motorcycle noise from the Pass road—bring earplugs.

The spot is well‑situated in the Julier Pass, close to the lakes and St. Moritz, just 15 minutes away. The road is nearby but the building is well insulated.

The staff were very courteous. The location of the accommodation is convenient for a stopover.
