“Guesthouseburh”

Very helpful and friendly hosts. The son speaks German. A remote guesthouse with a special vibe, modeled after a castle, secluded and quiet. The last few miles of road are not in the best condition. Breakfast was okay. Dinner was as requested and cooked with love. The rooms were nice, large, and clean; ours was on the third floor. No elevator. Everything was fine. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues – as is often the case with guesthouses we visit – which is a shame.

A nice, special place with good atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. The facilities are poorly maintained; there is no water flow in the shower and other small maintenance issues, and we cannot use credit cards (including hotel charges).

I loved the location, the staff were fantastic, the food and drinks were amazing, and I’ll definitely come back on my next trip!

“Schöne Aussicht und grosszügiges Zimmer, aber deutliche Mängel beim Service und Sauberkeit”

The surroundings and scenery were beautiful and the room was pleasantly spacious. However, the evening check‑in was a disappointment: the lobby smelled strongly of smoke, looked messy, and we were mistakenly charged an extra fee for the room, which we only avoided by showing the app. Even though the room was large and high up, it felt overall dirty. The bathroom was especially poor, with almost no water pressure, bad drainage, and the toilet placed directly in the shower. Because of this unhygienic overall impression, we skipped breakfast entirely. Not recommended.
