I was scammed because someone with a different name used my credit card number to book a stay at the hotel. I called the hotel and spoke to Maria, asking her to stop the reservation and involve the authorities if possible. She said she “investigated” and couldn’t do anything to prevent the fraud. Now I’m still being charged for that stay even though I reported the fraud to Master Card. This shows the management’s incompetence and could ruin other guests’ experiences.
