The spot was amazing and super convenient, right on the way to Horton Plains. Nothing stood out with the food, but that’s understandable given the size and location.

The views were really beautiful. Breakfast was fine and the staff were decent. The room’s sheets smelled like tobacco and cigarettes, even though it was supposedly a non‑smoking room. I asked for a change and they gave me other pillows that also carried a cigarette smell.

The staff were very friendly, eager, and worked hard to make the stay as pleasant as possible. They could drive to Horton Plains early in the morning for 10.000 LKR. The location is great with a beautiful view, even of the sunrise, and it’s recommended to bring cash. Unfortunately, our first room was somewhat dirty, including the duvet and towels, and the bathroom had a urine smell. After telling the staff, we were immediately moved to a new room, which was probably a higher price tier. The food was only enjoyable for some dishes, and the vegetable rice is not recommended.
