Catherine the host was absolutely lovely and the townhouse sits in a gorgeous location, but the room was very dark and had a lingering smell from poor bathroom ventilation; my strong sense of smell might not affect everyone as much.

Conveniently located on the edge of Truro, within walking distance of the center, with ample parking at the hotel; we were warmly received by the host, and the hotel room had classic English charm with many corners, details, and carpet, plus a nice garden. However, there was no English breakfast available—only continental included—and the heating and towel dryer in the room cannot be set individually.

The room was well equipped with a large, comfortable bed; the host was lovely and offered delicious homemade cake and brownies 😋, and I also loved the complimentary continental breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries.
