The location is very nice, but it isn’t suitable for swimming; there is a public beach next door. The kitchen is bland and mediocre, and the restaurant is cramped and noisy.

We’re already in our fourth visit to Club Cala Serena, so the question is moot. Still, it’s great that the club rooms are being upgraded bit by bit. We’ve repeatedly asked after our previous stays for the jogging‑walking routes to be re‑signposted; we now know them ourselves, but newcomers have no clues for the running paths. In the restaurant, I keep noticing that the fish and meat portions are over‑cooked, leaving them dry.

The location is superb, but the rooms feel like they’re from 1990. The buffet gets overcrowded, the service window is too narrow, and the waiters aren’t well trained.
