We recently stayed at Hotel Annapurna Palace and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, notably the paratha, dahi, chutney and masala tea. One small suggestion would be to have a separate shower area in the washroom, which would make the experience even better. Overall, a lovely stay with great hospitality. Highly recommended!

We chose this accommodation mainly because of its proximity to the Pashupatinath temple and the Boudhanath Stupa, but in hindsight we didn't find it really worth it. The single bed slept very well and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Another advantage of being outside the center is that the nearby restaurants and food stalls are much cheaper. Our room faced the front and there was a lot of noise. We are very heavy sleepers, but for light sleepers we would not recommend it. The hotel is very noisy; you hear everything from the neighbors. Also the room layout was odd: a wall was placed in front of a window to divide the rooms, so you could even look into the adjacent room. The double mattress was very saggy and the pillows were very hard. The staff in the breakfast room came across as unfriendly and it seemed like they were not in a good mood at all. We were also called by the front desk one evening to ask if we wanted dinner, even though we had already eaten and were ready to go to bed.

The food at the Rooftop Restaurant is carefully prepared with a strong focus on hygiene, and it’s just a 5‑minute walk from the famous Pashupatinath Temple.
