What a trip! Marta is a fantastic hostess who treats everyone like a friend, and the building itself feels like a museum. The rooftop garden offers a breathtaking view, and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Getting around the streets can be confusing, but it’s worth the effort.

Everything was superb: the breakfast was good, the views were amazing, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable with a large shower, and the stone walls and antique architecture added charm. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit bouncy.

Behind the door lies a gem—an old, charming house lovingly and tastefully renovated by Marta. Inside the courtyard, corridors, and rooms, one finds beautiful antiques arranged with care, all of high quality. The bathroom equipment is modern and also high‑quality. A roof terrace offers a wonderful panoramic view, and breakfast is served there. Upon arrival, guests are asked about their preferences and are given everything typically desired in the morning, served warmly. The best cappuccino, scrambled eggs, fruit, good juice, plus sweets, yogurt, and cereals are available. Marta is very friendly and helpful, escorting us in her car to a nearby public parking spot and then driving us to her husband's restaurant, where we ate very well. The accommodation is centrally located but quiet right in the heart of Sulmona, so you can’t park directly at the house because the alleys are simply too narrow and everything is very tight, which actually adds to the charm of the place. For us there was absolutely nothing to criticize. We were traveling around Italy for four weeks, and this was the best accommodation on our trip.
