“Nie polecam”

The location was good, but the hotel only responded after we got a ‘1’ rating on Booking, and it didn’t even acknowledge part of our complaint. Problems kept piling up: broken tiles that probably weren’t fixed during our stay, damaged railings, benches, and swings; a 2 zł cover for a can that was meant to hide cables; unclear if the grounds were cleaned daily because we had to pick up glass shards ourselves; screws left on the grill area from arrival to departure; hot water didn’t come on for 1–2 minutes, forcing us to wash with whatever was available. The place didn’t meet basic standards and the price was far too high for the quality.

“Polecam NIE KORZYSTAĆ”

The location was convenient, yet traveling with my two‑year‑old made safety a top concern and this place fell short: exposed cables jutted from the sockets, balcony railings were rusted, poorly installed and even had protruding screws, and at one stair turn the railing was completely missing. Broken tiles on the stairs could have caused a slip or cut if my child had played with the shards. Scattered nails and broken glass were also found around the grounds, while the old benches and swings looked like they hadn’t been maintained for years and could easily break. Inside the room there was no hot water, the flush barely drained, no toiletries or drinking water were provided, the wardrobe lacked shelves and the beds were of uneven heights. Breakfast was disappointing with a limited selection and poor quality. On Saturday a group of seniors arrived and their music kept playing well after the designated quiet hours. I left the hotel dissatisfied and would not recommend it to families with small children.

“Karmel 2 Augustów”

The staff were friendly, the hotel is close to the city centre and the municipal beach, and the breakfasts were decent with the option to buy tasty lunches. However, in the Karmel 2 building the stair tiles were coming off, nobody cleaned for five days and the trash bin was never emptied, and the terrace suffered the same tile problem. The Wi‑Fi information listed online was inaccurate—there was none. Despite repeated promises, a faulty cable was not repaired during my five‑day stay.

The location was good. The room lacked a fridge and glassware, and the coffee at breakfast could have been stronger, but overall everything was fine.

“Miejsce znajduje się w świetnej lokalizacji.”

Breakfast was excellent—tasty and with a large variety. Everything else was great, so I recommend it.
