“Fragwürdige Zahlungsforderungen, der Verdacht auf betrügerische Praktiken und ein extrem respektloser Mitarbeiter – eine”
Beware! Extremely questionable payment demands and a completely disrespectful employee – my worst hotel experience ever. What I encountered at Super 8 by Wyndham Augsburg was sheer audacity. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but such disrespectful treatment and shady payment requests are rare. After this, I can only say I’m deeply disappointed and advise everyone to be extremely cautious with payments here. The front desk staff member Roi initially insisted on cash only. When we insisted on paying by card, he claimed the terminal didn’t work. Only after we made it clear we wouldn’t accept that, could we pay by card. How can card payments suddenly be possible after being declared impossible? Even worse was the parking garage situation. Roi first demanded 20 euros in cash. When we finally paid by card, we were charged only 12 euros. I ask outright: why was 20 euros demanded if only 12 euros were collected? What happened to the extra 8 euros? This discrepancy is completely unacceptable. Combined with the earlier push for cash, it raises a serious suspicion of fraudulent payment demands. I refuse to accept that such practices are normal or professional. And if that wasn’t enough, Roi’s behavior was downright subterranean. His manner of speaking was arrogant, disrespectful, and utterly unprofessional. He sat across from us with his legs crossed, stretched during the conversation, and acted as if we were a nuisance. That’s not how you treat paying guests.
