The front desk staff were friendly, the setting was cozy and warm, and it felt like home; the station is close, so I’ll choose this again.

The owner is kind, replies quickly, transport is convenient, the area is lively, and the room is tidy and quiet. Nothing to complain about.

No odor in the room, the bed was reasonably comfortable, and the bathroom and toilet were clean. I wish every bed had curtains.

The spot is great and everything is reachable by bus or train. The staff, especially the older lady, were unfriendly and snippy. Only mini towels are offered for a fee. The beds lack curtains, the room is small, and the mattresses are uncomfortable. Cleanliness is average.

The app didn’t work, so I couldn’t book a taxi for my early‑morning flight, but the staff went out of their way to find a solution, calling the taxi company and arranging a reservation with a warm smile. I managed to return home safely and am grateful. The futon and pillow were very comfortable. The shared area had plenty of desks and chairs, making it easy to relax quietly. The nearest station is in the San‑Da commercial zone, about a 15‑minute walk from the airport, which was convenient. Though a bit far, walking from the hostel to the art district was enjoyable. I was there for the Kaohsiung Film Festival, and the venue was a 10‑minute walk from the city library. Nearby, there’s a shopping mall, a Japanese‑style restaurant like Ootoya, and a food court with many options, all very handy. The showers and toilets are not separated by gender, which was a bit awkward. In Taiwan, it’s common to discard toilet paper in the bin, but I wish the bin had a lid.
