I found the place very quiet and a solid value for a small inn rather than a three‑star hotel. Hot water was plentiful, the room had a private bath, a heater and air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast and the separate restaurant were ordinary, and the Wi‑Fi was decent.

Being right next to the park was a huge plus, and having a restaurant attached to the lodge saved me from the limited food options in town. The room was spacious and the furnishings were solid. On the downside, the walls were thin— I could hear the guests next door and had to be careful not to make noise because I needed to leave early for the park.
