Casa cu Magnolii

“A unique house in a storybook setting.”

The house is an incredible place. The property is very thoughtfully decorated in a classic style; it's surprising how the owners have managed to combine the concept of a traditional house with elegant, classic furniture and decor. Get to know Paul, the owner, and you'll understand why the result of the property is so wonderful. It has been an extraordinary experience!!. I loved finding a unique concept in the construction and design of the property, a faithful reflection of the owners' personality!

“A fost ceva special!”

Everything, the area, the staff, absolutely everything. I have nothing to object to here.

The couple running the accommodation were very friendly, their recommendations helped us enjoy the area and local food. The facilities are very good and the outdoor area is beautiful. We stayed there mainly for sleeping, but everything pleased us.

“Simpatia na aldeia”

The hosts were friendly and helpful, offering to cook dinner for us (a typical meal that turned out great) and letting us use the kitchen the next day to prepare our own dinner, plus a small breakfast with coffee and cake. The location is convenient for visiting the wooden churches, and there was a very nice dog named Bela. Next door to the house is a bar, a mini‑market, and an ATM. The only downside was that the room felt a bit small.

“Awesome hidden gem in Maramures”

The place is fantastic, and the host was extremely welcoming. The food was amazing; Ioana is a superb cook and served the best “sarmale” I’ve ever had—better than my mom’s. You have to try the horinca and afinata; they’re heavenly and made by the host.
