We really didn’t like it. The photos were misleading. The door of room 7 wouldn’t open, leaving us locked out at midnight; room 1 had a very strong odor; the photos don’t separate rooms, so they’re deceptive; there was a lot of street noise at night. We paid $254 for two nights in two rooms and it wasn’t worth it – we paid the same as a four‑star hotel in Portimão, but the other hotel was a thousand times better.

The accommodation was within walking distance of the old town and the beach, and there was on‑street parking nearby. The room offered a nice view and met our needs, but the bathroom turned into a wet room when the shower was used.

The location was convenient, but there was no air conditioning, so we had to keep a window open because of the street noise; the bed felt like a sinkhole and the mattress was really bad.
