The hotel was fantastic.

The location is superb, the gym is top‑class, and the wellness area is good. The staff, however, was by far the most negative aspect of our stay. At the reception, we experienced an unfriendly, arrogant, and condescending attitude that is rarely seen in hotels. What’s striking is that this impression wasn’t just ours: two other couples independently pointed out the same staff behavior, which speaks for itself. We do want to note that a few restaurant employees were the opposite—friendly, attentive, and professional. The rooms, in our view, no longer meet modern hotel standards; they look noticeably dated and in need of renovation. The shower in our room was particularly absurd—so small and cramped that my husband could barely stand, let alone shower comfortably. Overall, the room condition matched the overall lack of hospitality.

We had a completely pleasant stay and can recommend the hotel without hesitation! The location is perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities, whether hiking, climbing or mountain biking – there’s something for everyone. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The dinner especially impressed us and is truly worth recommending. The well-maintained wellness area is wonderful for relaxing. Overall, it offers great value for money. We’ll definitely return!

The personal approach from head waiter Peter, who knew the dishes well, was appreciated. Our special thanks also go to the head chef, whom we didn’t meet personally. The meals tasted excellent.
