The hospitality was warm and personal from the owners. They do their best to meet guests’ needs. The accommodation was comfortable, rustic, and well maintained with many homely conveniences, even homegrown apples. Since Wengen is a car‑free village, the walk of more than 1 km to the accommodation can be a challenge with luggage, but licensed taxis are available if you contact the owners.

This could be the cheapest place in the whole area, yet it sits in such a peaceful, quiet, and beautiful setting. The owner is very kind and helpful. We asked for a pitcher or thermos for hot water, and they gave us one right away. The shared kitchen is very well equipped, and the other guests were polite and considerate.

The view is beautiful and the spot is really quiet, yet it’s only a short walk to the train station and the supermarket, so getting around is easy. The staff were genuinely friendly, which added to the peaceful vibe.
