“Casita en Puchuzun”
We loved the place because it’s secluded and quiet; we were there to rest. It’s in Puchuzun, 25 km from Calingasta, a country house. The scenery and star‑filled nights are a dream. It has many beautiful, old details. The fridge cools like crazy. It needs a bit of “care” – the roof is thatch and the bedroom walls lack paint. There’s a two‑burner stove but no oven, so no pizzas, empanadas, or pies. Heating comes from a salamander that makes the room wonderfully warm. A new double bed would help because the current one is noisy when you move, sits, or get up, and it sinks in the middle, hurting your back while you sleep. Bring everything you’ll cook or need, or you’ll have to go to Calingasta for supplies. With no internet, you’ll need a good amount of data.
