“Só vale a pena pelo restaurante, a comida é ótima!”
I liked the pool and the restaurant food. The staff were friendly and attentive. The lodge has no accessibility at all; rooms on the upper floors can only be reached after climbing a staircase of more than 30 steps and a ridiculously steep slope, far outside the standards. The room we were first given was the opposite of the photos: poor lighting, an old sofa, a broken wardrobe about to fall apart, and the bathroom was horrible. At least the team swapped it for an accessible, better‑organized room quickly, which was good. However, the rooms were not cleaned daily: on the first day, only the trash was taken out and the bed wasn’t made. On the second day, nothing was done. The worst was that they left an extra roll of toilet paper, but the bathroom bin wasn’t emptied and the bed still wasn’t made. I stayed in two other places between Ilhéus and Itacaré, both cheaper and much better—cleaner, more detail‑oriented. It doesn’t offer good value.
