The reception was handled by a very friendly and available team, and the motel sits in a beautiful spot. Our room was spotless, and despite the high traffic the property was well maintained. It’s close to the main traffic arteries.

The owners were welcoming and helpful, and the location was convenient for our event and near Lincoln’s main street. A small stream flowed behind our cabin, the shower had good temperature and pressure, and the A/C worked well without loud fluctuations—plus it could run as a fan for white noise. Heating was used on later evenings and worked fine. The cabin lacked heat directly in the bathroom, so stepping out of the shower was a bit of a surprise until we left the door open—definitely not a deal breaker. The cabins are fairly close, which usually isn’t an issue, but a neighbor started their car early every morning and let it idle for 30 minutes right next to us; I didn’t tell the owners because we usually get up early.
