The location was good and the staff were very kind and professional, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was outdated and not up to a 5‑star luxury room, just a leaking bathtub and a shower that felt like a cheap shower head on the tap. The room wasn’t soundproof; I could hear all the neighbors and birds singing at 5:00 am even with the windows closed, as if they were inside. The restaurant prices were high for the portion sizes, a tourist trap. The hotel had no evening entertainment, it was dead. My son and I fell ill after having a cocktail and a beef burger at the restaurant bar snack; we suffered food poisoning. On the last day we almost missed our flight because of that. I absolutely do not recommend it and almost filed a complaint. The aging property offered nothing but a tennis court. The facilities were not worthy of a 5‑star rating. The pool shelter was near the pool, the roof had holes in several places. Many tiles were missing in the pool area and there were green algae stains on the walls. The breakfast area outside by the pool was missing floor tiles. The pool was not heated and there was no spa.
