The location was fantastic, the breakfasts were delicious, the room was nice and clean, and the reception was open 24 hours. I appreciated the helpful staff, paid by card at the hotel, and the communication was very efficient. I was very satisfied with the stay. The venue is literally a 5‑minute walk from the heart of Istanbul in a tidy area, with plenty of rooms available, and a stunning sea view from the terrace, even partially visible from the sea‑view room. When the outside temperature was between 17‑20°C, the building’s central air‑conditioning was switched off – only heating could be turned on, and as a guest I couldn’t activate cooling or ventilation. The staff mentioned that enabling cooling would affect other guests, yet other guests could use heating, while I wanted ventilation or cooling in my room. Inside the room it was 28°C and I couldn’t lower the temperature. Sleeping with the window open was quite annoying because I could hear the morning prayers.
