The owner was very friendly, spoke good English, and handled all personal matters quickly. Breakfast was good, the room was large and clean, and you can book transport and a motorcycle locally at a reasonable price.

We spent a family night there and it was quite good. The welcome was very pleasant. The only downside is the location a bit away from town. Breakfast was a major let‑down: the kids ordered a plate of seasonal fruit but only received a tiny bowl with a half‑banana, a few grapes, and passion fruit—definitely not enough to last until lunch, especially after the photos on Booking had promised more.

I arrived at 2 a.m. and easily picked up the room key. Communication with the manager via WhatsApp was very efficient. The shampoo available was a joke.

“Mauvais séjour”

We liked that the lady let us stay just one night instead of two. The terrace was nice. We had booked two nights, but upon arrival we immediately noticed a stale, cold tobacco smell in the room. Switching rooms didn’t help; the sheets and towels had the same odor even after a towel change. As other reviews note, there’s a lot of unnecessary, old, and unclean décor. Breakfast was really bad—both the coffee and the eggs—so we didn’t even eat. The young manager was friendly and fairly responsive, but the lady who serves breakfast or works at reception doesn’t speak a word of English, which made things complicated. The bed wasn’t comfortable, and when the room smelled bad you couldn’t sleep well.

“si c’était à refaire je n’irai pas”

It was very noisy, the staff didn’t speak any English, it was far from the center—about 2 km more than the 800 meters indicated.
