I spent roughly two weeks here and the staff were fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and ready to assist with anything from room cleaning to laundry and local recommendations. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the steps of the Ganga, and the price is very reasonable.

The spot is decent, even though you have to navigate narrow lanes to get there. The sheets and pillow covers were dirty, there was no night lamp in the room—so I had to keep lights on all night, otherwise it was pitch black. The mattress was uncomfortable, and I ended up cutting my stay short to just one night because I had already paid.

The location is right in the middle of things. However, the room couldn’t be locked, the furnishings were minimal, it was dirty, and the breakfast didn’t cater to European tastes.

The spot was great and I enjoyed the monkeys on the roof. There were no English‑speaking staff, no hot water for the shower, and it took a long time to get basic items like towels—plus we only received one set, so we had to share. The beds could use an upgrade.
