The manager was really friendly and went out of her way to help, and the room was plain but exactly what was advertised. The whole thing was dead quiet and there was a little market and bakery just a short walk away, which made the weekend workable. It did cost a bit more because it fell on the São João weekend, and the private bathroom was down on the lower floor with a stair that had no handrail, plus the bed frame looked a little worn even though it was clean.
