The rooms are good and you get the best experience living here; the food is a bit pricey and you must order well in advance because they take some time to get it ready, and I’ve heard the name Arindham mentioned in other reviews – if you visit Dhauladhar Woodhouse you can’t write a review without mentioning him, he’s such a “Super host”; there’s nothing else to complain about.

The stay was excellent! The host Deb was pleasant and very hands‑on with everything, and I’d love to return for some art and music, hopefully around winter time! The rooms (presumably) had flies entering, and maybe a balcony could help bring in fresh air.

The valley was remote but the views were incredible, yet the staff in the room next door kept sleeping and made a lot of noise until 11 pm on the first night; on the second night I asked them politely to be quiet, they left, then came back and kept me awake until 11:45. Not good.
