The owner was lovely, the bed and room were comfortable, and the location was central. The owner helped with parking opposite and the Wi‑Fi connectivity was good. The place was very, very cluttered and seemed a little overpriced for a traditional BnB.

Donald was an interesting person to meet, especially with his ongoing involvement with boxing; he looked after us well and provided us with breakfast. The bathroom was very small, and the thin walls let us hear our neighbours talking.

Donald the host was excellent, friendly, amiable and attentive; he was willing to answer any questions and was interesting to converse with. He was knowledgeable about the area.

The landlord was very friendly and helpful.

The beds were adequate. The clutter outside was off‑putting, and they didn’t seem prepared for our arrival.
