The hotel was outstanding! We booked the superior double and it was truly more spacious than typical Japanese rooms. The room was spotless and exceptionally bright, letting us unwind after a day exploring Kyoto. Free water at the entrance. Its location is perfect for nearby attractions like Gion and Nishiki Market, and the nearby bus stops make traveling farther easy. In the evening, the restaurant and nightlife area is just a 10‑minute walk. I’d gladly stay here again.

The location is excellent, the room is wide and bright with large windows, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The TV doesn’t allow app connections for streaming, the fridge doesn’t cool enough, the table is small, and the USB charging ports are awkward.

Good value for money. Clean, modest, but pleasant. When heading to Kyoto you don’t spend your time lying in a hotel, so this place is fine for a night’s stay. The beds are very comfortable. There’s an extra fee at the entrance.
