The breakfast was fantastic, the cottage felt very rural, and the owner was very pleasant, yet the place was a bit too close to a busy road, the bed could have been larger—Alsace usually has 160 × 200 cm beds—and a fan would have helped during the heat.

We loved how spacious the accommodation was, its independence, and Laurence’s kindness, who took care of us throughout the stay; breakfast was good and hearty, and it was delightful to be surrounded by so many animals: kittens, cats, cows, and peacocks 😉
