Maringotka u potůčku

I stayed with my dogs in the woods and everything was perfect. The Maringotka had all the gear described, the owner explained everything and even prepped wood for the stove. I especially liked the cut trail to the stream and the car. The little fireplace inside heated wonderfully, so we never wanted to leave. The solar panel was enough to charge phones and light the interior. Thanks a lot. Nothing to complain about.

If you’re okay living without electricity and with cold water hygiene, there’s nothing wrong. A city person will enjoy the sky (when it’s not frosty). The feeling that the sky is 10× closer is intense. Don’t bring a partner who freaks out when they can’t style their hair in the morning.

The trailer and garden were very nice and clean enough. It’s close to a village, next to an (empty?) house, so you can be alone but still feel safe. And finally, someone who doesn’t charge extra for a dog—normally you get squeezed financially like a lemon everywhere, as a dog owner. The electricity box provides power for light and charging a phone, but wasn’t strong enough for my electric toaster. The toilet was better than expected—just don’t look down inside. You get used to the bad smell after the first time, but there would be better and more modern versions for outdoor/camping toilets available for sale. (I used my own small one for the night.)

It’s a very romantic spot for nature lovers. It’s very simple and lovingly set up. We were cycling in the Czech Republic and this was our favorite accommodation.
