I found the price to be excellent and the room was cozy with a lovely view of the ruins. Walking to the ruins and the train station is easy, which makes it a smart choice if you plan to hit Machu Picchu the next morning. The staff began prepping breakfast early for our group because we were checking out at 06:40 am. Nothing to complain about—exactly what I expected.

The location is great, just a minute’s walk from the town center, and the staff are friendly with a nice breakfast. The top rooms offer a beautiful view and hot water is available. The hot water only lasted a few minutes, but that was enough for a quick shower.

The décor, lighting, and cleanliness were good. However, the rooms do not have TVs. I stayed for six days and the toiletries were only changed once at my request. I asked if breakfast could be served at 6 am because I had to leave for work at 6:30 am, but they said breakfast is only served at 6:30 am. I went down at that time and it still wasn’t ready.
