The staff were rude and the air conditioning wasn’t working.

The staff were very good, helpful, polite and attentive. The area was crowded with Yacht Show visitors, but we chose to stay away from Monaco; a €1 bus ride to Monaco is fun. The hotel is not top‑level in any way, and the price reflects that. The food is good, and the area is excellent.

When we arrived, the room temperature was an unbearable 35 °C because the air conditioning was totally broken, a service that was advertised and guaranteed at booking. After we reported it, the reception staff gave us an uncertain timeline for repair, probably after two hours, and offered no immediate concrete solutions. Given the impracticality and uninhabitability of the rooms, we had to leave the hotel immediately to protect our health and wellbeing. I therefore request a refund of €180, and if you do not respond, I will formally report this to the consumer protection authorities.

The hotel claimed rooms were air‑conditioned, yet we only got a fan that didn’t cool us, so we had a sleepless night and our dog couldn't escape the heat.
