The room was cozy, everything was arranged nicely, the décor and comfort were practical for visiting Bari, and it was especially close to the port so you don’t need a taxi for a cruise. The only downside was the staircase—very narrow and steep to climb with a suitcase.

I stayed here again two years ago on the old town’s waterfront in a stone building to capture the Bari vibe. I was on the 2nd floor then, now on the 3rd. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice. The stairs are narrow, so be careful. We had a balcony on the 2nd floor that we loved, but the 3rd floor has a French balcony that’s a tight space.

The location is perfect, the room and bathroom are spacious and clean. Even though the hotel sits right next to a large parking lot and playground, it stays quiet when the windows are shut. The fridge, tea and some small sweets are provided. The downside is that the bathroom and toilet are only separated from the rest of the room by a curtain – a door would be essential. There is also insufficient blackout; the curtains let in a lot of light. Getting to the airport takes about 10‑15 minutes on foot from the bus stop, but there are only a few services on Sundays. A key point is that rooms on the upper floors are reachable only via a very narrow and partly low staircase, which is fine for us but would be cumbersome for heavy luggage, older people, etc.
