The island was wonderful, but in low season some spots on the beach were very dirty and the mosquitoes on Koh Lipe were relentless, especially after coming from Bangkok.

This hotel sits right on the beachfront and is close to the walking street along the sandy shore line; the beach feels like the Maldives of Thailand, maybe even better—highly recommend if you’re into a beach vibe. Just a few mossy spots, so bring repellent before you step out.

The staff were all so friendly and genuinely kind to us 🧡, and everyone seemed to be having a good time, which made our stay incredibly enjoyable. We felt spoiled, with every employee being very welcoming. The downside was the many Chinese guests who stayed there at the same time; they behaved rudely toward staff, made a lot of noise, shouted, and left their mess everywhere. This was also true in the restaurants and massage salons where we encountered them.
