Nothing good to say. It was a complete lie—none of the promised facilities were there, the bed was tiny, there was no hot water, no kettle, no balcony, and the host refused to make any changes when I mentioned it, claiming the amenities were for a more expensive room and calling me a liar. She was very rude and objectionable.

The only person who attended us on both days was very friendly and available. The listing photo was far from reality; I thought there would be breakfast, but there was none. The room light was burnt out and, since it wasn’t a weekday, it stayed that way.

The room was clean and spacious, with a shower bath and a lake view, but the hotel sits on the heights of Puno, so it’s a steep climb. The common area host kindly let us use their kettle for coffee. The room felt a bit chilly in May.
