Doña María was incredibly kind and the breakfasts were delicious, which made mornings pleasant. The room itself was underground, so there was no natural light, and the bathroom was on a different floor. Also, the night check‑in rule (by 11 pm) meant we couldn’t leave the hotel after dark without worrying about the curfew.
