The remote spot at 8400 feet offered comfy cabins and a great on‑site restaurant and bar. We stopped over but could have stayed longer. The only issue is that the entrance is just off the main road; before you begin the 1000‑foot drive to the location it looks a bit unsightly, otherwise everything is perfect.

The area is nice, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing missing is a breakfast option with a price listed.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed; the staff and accommodations were exceptional. The restaurant served delicious food, and the view while driving to the facility was breathtaking! We will return.

The spot sits atop a mountain, totally cut off from the world, and the rooms are separate cabins. I appreciated the automation—different colored lights, remote fan control, and the like. The only downside was the power outage at 645 pm that didn’t return until just before 10 pm, ruining our only evening and pulling down the overall score. Getting there is a bit of a trek: a dirt road for the last mile and a winding mountain pass with a few switchbacks.
