Location is solid, right in the heart of Hebden Bridge. Quiet thanks to double‑glazed windows that muffle traffic. The room was very cold when I arrived; perhaps the heating could have been turned on earlier. I couldn’t figure out how to use the TV—no digital signal.

The spot is great, right in the middle of Hebden Bridge and close to shops and the Co‑op across the street. The bathroom was warm with a nice bath, but the LED lighting was too bright and glaring. There was a kettle for hot drinks. The duvet was paper‑thin, and it was –1°C when I got there—so cold I had to double it up and use towels and cushions for warmth, keeping all my clothes on. I brought a water bottle to keep heat. The heater was off for a while, only turned on for a few hours, and when I returned late at midnight after a birthday party it was off again. I was woken by lorries until 2 am, a neighbor’s loud dubstep party, and a snorer in the room next door. After a rough, disheveled sleep I took a shower (I was the first one in) and it was cold except for a brief ten‑second burst of warmth, twice. I didn’t like sharing facilities—anyone could be in the same room. The owner answered some questions during the day but didn’t bring me bedding. There was a locked wardrobe, maybe there were blankets inside. They checked in a few hours later, but there was no Wi‑Fi, so I couldn’t respond. Some friends stayed in a new warm bar hotel at the same price. It was the coldest night ever, overall discomfort, and it wasn’t worth £81 for the night.

Everything was perfect. The owner went above and beyond under difficult circumstances to ensure our stay went smoothly. Nothing was lacking—everything was simply flawless.

Excellent location for a lively time, close to a supermarket. The smart bathroom was good, and the room stayed warm even in the cold season. The big pine furniture looked outdated. The room was small with a large wardrobe; a clothes rail would have saved space and made room for luggage.
