The location was the best, the room was very spacious and clean, and the early‑morning check‑in was convenient; we hardly interacted with staff and never met anyone at reception. We arrived at dawn and there was no complimentary water, the breakfast only offered a bagel and croissant at a café two streets away, very limited.

The location was very good for walking to the Sassi without the crowds, and there was a small Italian breakfast in a bar around the corner. Unfortunately we were assigned a basement room that already had a strong mold smell upon entry; it had an extra fan and the issue seemed known, which was a no‑go for us. We managed to stay one night but would not have stayed a second; a shame.
