“Exceptional place!”

I was blown away by the care from Parn and her husband – they spoke flawless English, were super friendly, and even woke up early multiple times to hand me breakfast on the go for my very early tours. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable, and the breakfast itself was exceptional – tasty, plentiful, and served in a cute cafe. The rooms were fresh and modern, with a bed that felt comfier than my own at home. The key‑card system made me feel safe, and the balcony room offered a great view of the river. Parn even called the train station to confirm tickets and helped me arrange a Grab pickup. She let me drop off luggage early before check‑in, and her husband carried my bag to the room so I didn’t have to. She also suggested taking the boat to the Grand Palace, which was affordable and a great experience. The hotel sits down an alley, so there’s no street noise and you’ll get good rest. The location is super accessible with sidewalks everywhere, making the trip to Bangkok truly enjoyable. The only downside is the stairs: rooms are upstairs while bathrooms are downstairs, so if you have trouble with stairs, stay elsewhere. If you can manage the stairs, it’s a great choice. Also, let Parn know if you plan to be out late at night, as they lock the gate for security.

“The best hostel in Bangkok. I was touched by the kind owner and his wife”

We arrived in Bangkok around 10 p.m. and checked in, only to find the owner and his wife waiting for us. After a long flight I was exhausted, but they greeted me warmly, explained everything, and the room was spotless and spacious – perfect for just the two of us. The bathroom was separate, but that was fine. If I come back to Bangkok, I’d stay for more than two nights. Because we checked out early the next day, I’d suggest checking the breakfast menu in advance; I packed it up and ate it deliciously at the airport. The location is excellent – Khao San Road and Rambuttri Street are within 10 minutes. The only downside was the separate restroom, but since we knew about it beforehand, it wasn’t a problem.

The accueil from Parn and her husband was fantastic. The only issue: having to descend and ascend 2–3 floors to reach the toilet at night.
