“Thoroughly enjoyed our time there, wish we could have stayed longer!”
The food was delicious and filling.
We enjoyed the vibe, the kitchen and coffee access, the friendly and helpful staff, and the chance to meet other travelers, plus the excellent breakfast service. However, the Jelly Bean Suite didn’t suit us; the description was vague, and the shower/jacuzzi combo isn’t private from the sleeping or living areas, making it hard and risky for anyone with mobility or balance issues. The suite is aimed at young couples, so we recommend checking directly with the hotel for accurate details.
The location was good, yet the old house, while generally well preserved, had bathrooms and windows that needed renovation, and the floors were in rough shape; the room was much smaller than advertised.
“Lovely and spacious manor with very friendly staff”
The room was huge and comfy, spanning two floors with an outdoor entrance from the parking lot, a sitting area, a full kitchen, stairs to the sleeping area, and a spacious washroom featuring both a shower and a jacuzzi; another door led to the manor’s interior, and breakfasts were beautifully arranged in the period dining room on a massive wooden table. The only downside was that the kitchen couldn’t provide a simple protein option like a plain egg for guests who avoid carb‑heavy pancakes, and we were told to notify the hotel in advance about dietary needs.
“Historisches Guesthouse in ruhiger Lage”
The quiet location, the charm of the property, and the good breakfast were highlights, but the apartment felt only somewhat cozy despite the high price.
