I had a great experience at Mia Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean, the staff is amazing and always available to make their customers happy. The location is close to the French concession and 10 minutes walk from the subway station

The bed was comfortable. Japanese toilet. The breakfast was the worst I’ve had in the two weeks I spent in China. I booked with breakfast and only ate it once because it was that bad. They say they have a Western breakfast, but it’s limited to bread and a packaged cake, and nothing to put on the bread. Even the coffee wasn’t good. The room was dark, had little light. 10 minutes walk to the metro. They ask for a deposit returned at the end, but it shows they don’t trust customers. The room doesn’t even have a coffee machine or capsules to compensate for the bad breakfast.

A great option for a family of three – we had a two‑level room that felt like a gift for the price. Cleaning was daily, including fresh bathrobes, towels, and water. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, and blackout curtains were available. The room was roomy enough to include a small storage area where we kept all our purchases. Free laundry service was a pleasant bonus. We skipped breakfast because there are several nice spots nearby for a quick bite (try the fast‑food stand a diagonal from the hotel), and there’s a decent coffee shop right in the building. The downside: the shower didn’t have towel hooks, which is critical because you have to leave the shower to grab a towel – not ideal if you have kids. That’s why I deducted two stars, as we had to wait on the second floor while someone else used the shower.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was neat and compact, though the shower leaked and soaked the bath mat, leaving a smell. They kindly offered me a complimentary breakfast, but the selection was a bit limited.
